About 20 mint leaves, plus more for garnish
2 tsp. sugar or 2 tsp. simple syrup
2-3 oz. bourbon
Put mint leaves and sugar (or syrup) in Mint Julep cup, old-fashioned glass, or similar vessel. Muddle until dissolved into a fragrant mash. Add bourbon, stir. Fill glass with crushed ice and stir until glass is frosty. Garnish with mint leaves.
