Directions:

Place tomatillos in a saucepan with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil. Simmer until tomatillos soften, about 10 minutes. Drain tomatillos and place in a food processor or blender with remaining ingredients. Blend to desired consistency. Serve with dishes that need a kick or chilled as a dip.

  • 10 tomatillos, husked
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 c fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
